About This Directory
The Global Directory of Secular Organizations is intended to help secular communities, organizations, leaders, and individuals discover and connect with one another across countries and regions.
Around the world, there are thousands of organizations promoting reason, science, secular governance, human rights, compassion, critical thinking, and community without religion. Yet many of these organizations remain relatively isolated from one another.
This directory is being developed as part of the broader Global Secular Alliance initiative to encourage greater communication, visibility, cooperation, and resource-sharing among secular organizations worldwide.
We are beginning by listing major international secular and humanist organizations.
Over time, we hope to expand the directory to include:
- National secular organizations
- Regional and local groups
- Community and meetup organizations
- Youth and student organizations
- Educational, advocacy, and cultural initiatives
Inclusion in this directory does not imply formal affiliation, endorsement, partnership, or membership in the Global Secular Alliance. This directory is intended as an informational resource to encourage awareness, communication, and collaboration among independent organizations.
