An Exploratory Global Initiative

Around the world, secular organizations are working to promote reason, science, human dignity, freedom of belief, secular governance, education, compassion, and human progress.

Yet many of these organizations work largely in isolation from one another. The Global Secular Alliance is being developed as a voluntary collaborative network to strengthen communication, cooperation, visibility, and mutual support.

Our goal is not to replace existing organizations or create ideological uniformity. Rather, we hope to help independent secular communities connect, share resources, and work together where common interests exist.

Why This Matters

Religious institutions often benefit from strong international networks, shared resources, and coordinated outreach. Secular organizations, by contrast, are often fragmented even when they share similar values and challenges.
